Azure has now marked the root incident as resolved (https://azure.status.microsoft/en-us/status/). From our side, all of Skedda's services are fully operational so we're closing this now as resolved.

Update
Microsoft has performed mitigation steps to resolve the underlying issue in its Wide Area Network. At this time, the underlying issue appears to be resolved on the Microsoft side: https://azure.status.microsoft/en-us/status

At this time our telemetry shows that Skedda is operating normally, however we will continue to monitor until Microsoft resolves the underlying issue on its status page.

Update
Azure continues to work on the underlying network issues on its platform: https://status.azure.com/en-us/status

From our side, the mitigation steps taken mean that our services should be fully operational for our customers.

We continue to monitor and will provide an update within 2 hours or as events warrant.

Update
We're seeing a regression of the outage and have taken mitigation steps to help resolve it. The underlying cause is an outage on the Microsoft Azure platform as now described on the Azure status page here: https://status.azure.com/en-us/status

Some customers may begin to see recovery as our mitigation steps take effect, however other customers may continue to observe elevated error rates at this time.

We will provide another update within 30 minutes or as events warrant.

Monitoring
Between 07:09 UTC and 07:15 UTC our services experienced a partial outage. Initial investigations suggest a transient networking issue relating to the Microsoft Azure network (the platform on which Skedda is hosted). We continue to investigate the cause and monitor the performance of the Skedda services.

At this time the Skedda services are fully operational again.

We will provide an update within 2 hours or as events warrant.
